Location: Middletown, NJ
Support client team performing certification of software/storage/hardware of application hosting h/w and s/w stacks. This work involves frequent setup and takedown of concurrent environments in order to test the compatibility of combinations of software/hw/OS/storage system versions. Will require frequent interaction with various vendors and client teams for issue resolution.
• Skillset: Hardware configuration/management, Operating System, storage system, and software installation skills, troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
o Hardware includes: Dell, HP, NetApp storage, EMC storage, SUN
o OS includes: Windows 2008, Redhat Linux, Solaris, AIX, HPUX
o Software includes: SAP knowledge/experience required. Desired sw knowledge of: Peoplesoft, Oracle eBusiness Systems, Exchange, Siebel, Sharepoint, Ariba
