The Planner / Scheduler

Position: The Planner / Scheduler
Duration: 6 months
Location: Bartlesville OK
Needs to be very senior. Does not necessarily need Primavera but would be ideal if they had P6 experience.

The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for:
• Providing planning expertise throughout the phases of the project life cycle – Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, Closing
• Working with the project manager to develop a project schedule that adheres to and maintains the key planning and controlling elements set forth in client’s planning processes and methodologies
• Creating the project work breakdown structure, preparing cost reports and providing cost analysis, setup and maintenance of earned value progress reporting, variance reporting, status reporting, and resource analysis and balancing.
• Interface with the Project Manager to ensure task data is incorporated into the integrated project schedule
• Incorporate approved change orders into the project schedule and reports

Basic / Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated 1 + years of in-depth project management experience on IT projects.
• Thorough knowledge and minimum 2 years experience using Primavera 6 and MS Project to build project plans and track project progress
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good communicator and able to work well with project managers and team members to identify problems or issues

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Team player with knowledge and experience in working with multiple project teams
• Understanding of project life cycle methodology and project management principles in planning, tracking and controlling projects
